Five Star Reviews

A few months ago I had decided to switch my focus from direct mail marketing to an email marketing campaign. At first this seemed like a good idea, since the direct mail marketing had been working great for me and generating good ROI. I created several ezine ads to send out, one for each product I was selling. I also made several postcard type ads as well to promote each product.

What’s the Best Way to Use Them As a Touchpoint For Your E-Mail Campaign?

Well, after sending out a few weeks worth of ads and posting some pretty good stuff, I realized something. The results of my efforts were a bit mixed. The bulk of my traffic was simply not converting into sales. This was despite the fact that I was paying an arm and a leg for these sales, something that I would never spend money on if I was building my business with these ezine ads and direct mail campaigns. So, I went about finding a way to automate email sequence, so that I could get all of my ezine subscribers automatically signed up to my list, and then use these five star reviews as my own personal touchpoint to make sales.

Here’s a short recap of how to create 100+ five star reviews within a few days: Send out a simple survey to all of your customers, asking them to rate their shopping experience after they have purchased your product. Include a link directing them back to your website. Then segment your respondents according to the actual score they gave you, promoters, distractors, and social media friendly touches. Based on your findings, implement what you learned. For me, the real breakthrough was using customer reviews and social media in conjunction. In a few weeks, I was able to double my sales, and triple my income.
